Senior's: Murton 1 v 2 Walker Central
By Steve Hurd.
3 points is a must the day,and at 9.30 i recieve a call to say keeper is not well,my 2 back ups stuck at work. Claffy plays in goal,we start well and create a couple of early chances.15 min in and Bully is fouled by the last man and they go down to 10.We take the lead thru Chippy who beats the offside trap to slot into the bottom corner, our lead is doubled whin Chippy crosses to back post and Hurd fires into corner. We have the chances to get a 3rd before half time but fail to finish.Second half sees good chances fall to Bully Cramey and Lee and again we dont finish,Murton get a penalty and score when now have a shaky last 10 min but we hang on.Important 3 points

Senior's: Walker Seniors upset potential title race
Walker Central beat Alnwick Town 1-0 in a nailbiting game. The only goal came from an Abu run into the box and a penalty awarded and coverted by Abu. It was a case of missed chances with Dean Holmes and Grant Kershaw hitting the post with Dean Holmes putting over from 6 yards out. Alnwick had their chances but Walker were fantastic defending especially after losing Daniel Thompson in the 5th minute. Steve Hurd now takes over the senior team and I'd like to wish him well.

Senior's: Walker win comfortably in a 3-0 win against local rivals
Heaton Stannington came and went home 3-0 losers though in truth the score was kept down by the quality keeping of Heaton Stannington. Grant Kershaw opened the scoring after 30 minutes and it remained that way because of one excellent save fron Nial Harrison and over a half a dozen saves from the Stan Keeper. Second half became a one sided affair as Walker dominated and scored a second through Ian Sinclair and a third through Grant Kershaw making it 4 goals in the last two games
